The December 2004 tsunami devastated the southern areas of Thailand. Homes and businesses were washed out to sea and a harbor full of boats and ships were left wedged into the mountains. Current living conditions in the area left thousands in despair. Without the slightest of modern conveniences, electricity, shelter or food, the Thais are forced to live in tents as they bravely strive to rebuild their livelihood.
