7/20/13 – Bui Simon, President of Angels Wings Foundation Returns to Thailand to Continue her Educational Endeavors with the Phuket Rural Teaching Scholarship Program

This year marks the last year of college education for three of the five students. Upon graduation, the three senior year students will become the first teachers from the Rural Teaching Scholarship Program and will return to their homeland to start their careers as educators in the Thai community next year.  The Angels Wings Teaching Scholarship Program has provided dozens of opportunities in the form of educational grants not only through our pilot teaching program in Phuket but also in the northern regions of Thailand and internationally through Founder Bui Simon’s alma mater Pepperdine University in the United States.“I am so happy to be back in my motherland of Thailand with my family. I want my children to be raised knowing the importance of my commitment to the Angels Wings Foundation and to appreciate our mission. It brings me great pride to work hand in hand with the thoughtful leaders of Thailand to generate life-changing programs for the youth of our country. ” said President Bui Simon.
